The route used by the bus and the cars is the same, and the buses don’t have many detours or stops, so it will take you at the same time as going by car. The route is fairly straight and easy and is in very good condition. But you may have noticed that it is not easy to find parking, especially in the summer months. Another advantage of the bus is that you can load the luggage in the depot without extra charge. Just ask the driver to open the luggage hold or point out your luggage, and he will do it for you. Although it is a small airport that receives international flights.
Comiso airport receives flights, especially from Ryanair and other low-cost airlines that operate in Sicily. During the summer, this airport connects tourists non-stop from El Prat Airport (Barcelona, Spain) at least 3 times a week, and Rome daily.
